Ukrainian forces violate Additional Measures four times in 24 hours – JCCC

Donetsk, Aug 31 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations violated the Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

Ukrainian force carried out engineer works outside Shirokino. An explosion, presumably of a mine, was heard outside Granitnoye. UAVs were launched in the vicinity of Naberezhnoye and Novolaspa.

JCCC also reported two ceasefire violation incidents on the previous day.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
