Kiev forces shell southern DPR with grenade launchers

Donetsk, Nov 2 – DAN. Ukrainian armed formations opened grenade launcher fire on the township of Novolaspa in the DPR south, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.

“A shelling from the Ukrainian side was reported at 12.25 p.m. targeting Novolaspa, three automatic grenade launcher rounds were fired.”

The fire originated from the direction of Starognatovka.

Ukrainian forces observed the ceasefire in two previous days.

The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
