Ukrainian forces deliver strikes at Donetsk northern suburbs – JCCC

Donetsk, Feb 28 – DAN. Ukrainian army units fired mortars and grenade launchers at the Spartak village area north of Donetsk on Friday afternoon, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

Strikes were delivered from Ukrainian forces’ positions in the Kiev-held Avedeyevka area. The enemy used 82mm mortars, recoilless guns and AGS-29 automatic grenade launchers. Overall, 35 rounds of ammunition were fired, the JCCC said.

There have been no reports on casualties or damage.

Earlier on Friday, the DPR Office at the JCCC reported Ukrainian sniper fire in the Yasinovataya area.*jk
