DPR reports second coronavirus case, child of the first COVID-19 patient

Donetsk, Apr 1 – DAN. DPR has recorded second confirmed COVID-19 case, the Ministry of Health said.

“The Ministry of Health reports that on April 1, 2020 the second case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the DPR,” the report shows.

The patient is a child of the woman who was earlier diagnosed with the coronavirus.

“The mother and her child have developed mild symptoms and are being treated in a separate room in the infection unit. Other family members are also in the hospital under medical surveillance, in satisfactory condition, with normal temperature, they have no complaints and tested negative for the virus,” the health authority said.

The woman who was diagnosed with the virus arrived to the DPR from Moscow on March 19 with her husband and son. *ot
